POINTS OF INTEREST

Hexagon tiles have appeared in design for centuries, from Roman bathhouse floors to Victorian entryways. Unlike installations with square or rectangular tiles and grids of horizontal and vertical lines, hexagonal tiles meet their neighbors at three angles, creating movement in multiple directions and a more woven appearance. Hexagon tiles are available in two Zia materials: handmade Moroccan zellige and Cotto, our terra cotta line. Whether a glazed zellige shower wall or an unglazed Cotto floor, hexagons make their design point six times over.
