OLD GLASS. NEW TRICKS.

This collection marks Zia’s first foray into glass tiles, with our most sustainable line to date. Our explorations landed us in Northern Spain, where the process is as important as the product. Crafted in a facility that relies primarily on renewable, wind and solar energy and firing the tiles in electric kilns, we are able to marry craft and consciousness in the process. The tiles are made from 98% recycled glass.

The resulting 12x12 grids of mosaic tiles feature especially vibrant colors and repeatable designs that maximize the capabilities of the small format material. Zia’s design team created seven intentional patterns, drawing inspiration from artworks, fashion textiles, and locations like Los Angeles’s own Union Station.
