Zia Tile Design Services

Our complimentary 30-minute consultation will focus on tile selections for the project(s) outlined in your submission form. The more information you share ahead of time — inspiration images, project photos, square footage, and any Zia tiles you are considering — the more helpful we can be during the call. Your Design Consultant can discuss tile colors, patterns, sizes, layouts, grout pairings, coordinating materials, application considerations, and availability within the Zia collection.

Zia Tile design consultations are complimentary; there is no charge for your 30-minute phone or video meeting.

Our Zia Design Consultants come from interior design and related creative backgrounds, and are deeply familiar with the Zia Tile collection.

We are happy to offer general guidance about measurements, though we are unable to personally measure your space or verify dimensions remotely. To confirm your tile square footage or to address more complex areas, please consult a contractor or installer. Prior to your consultation, please provide the square footage for each space you are covering so we can focus on materials that will meet your project timeline.

We typically recommend adding a 15% overage to any tile order, to account for cuts, waste, and natural variation. If a more uniform look is desired, we recommend 20-25% overage to account for variation in handmade tile, including chips or pits. Your installer can help confirm the final quantity needed for your specific project and ideal level of curation.

We are not able to provide any renderings of your spaces. Our Design Consultants can provide tile recommendations, pairings, layout guidance, and simple design boards using Zia Tile products to help you visualize your selections. 

Our design consultations are focused specifically on tile selections from the Zia collection. We are happy to consider other elements in a room to best maintain the desired look and feel of the space, but we are unable to provide direct recommendations on cabinetry, countertops, paint colors, furnishings, or other non-tile materials.

Zia Tile design consultations are offered virtually by phone or video call only at this time.

Following your consultation, your Design Consultant may send complimentary samples of tiles you would like to review in person, and will be available for any followup questions. Once you are ready to place a full order, we are happy to assist with final tile selections, updated availability, and invoicing.
